This is the "Combat Prototype" of RockHopper.

Feedback I am looking for:

  • Resources, are there too many, are there too few, does the colour help in any way (light blue is experience, everything else is a form of ore with increasing rarity)
  • Does the movement feel good, or is it too hard to control?
  • Do the upgrades feel meaningful, the numbers might need to be changed
  • Do the weapons seem suited for their task? 
    • The railgun is a high damage, single target weapon
    • The chain gun does a small amount of damage split among many enemies, potentially
    • The rocket launcher gives you more range and higher damage at a distance
    • The lighting gun is good for clearing groups/clusters
  • Artifacts, a Work In Progress
    • Ideas?

Debug Keys (Developer Mode)

  •   F3: Toggle debug menu (cycles through hidden, compact, detailed views)
  • ` : Toggle log display visibility
  • Keypad +: Increase player level
  • Keypad /: Spawn a supply cache
  • Keypad *: Spawn a boss enemy
  • Keypad -: Add an artifact
  • Keypad Enter: Spawn an exit wormhole
  • Keypad 0: Kill current boss instantly
  • Keypad 1: Spawn a resource magnet
  • Keypad 5: Add a weapon
